Guests have sat through the wedding ceremony, mingled with the bridal party, eaten a few hor’dourves and are now making their way into the reception venue. As they find their tables, the first things they look for are the wedding favors.

While there are any number of great favor ideas, chocolate candies remain at the top of the list as a guest favorite. Guests can choose to devour those candies as they wait for their meals or tucked away to enjoy later. Chocolate can be personalized to reflect the personalities and interests of the wedding couple. Small chocolate candies can be imprinted with the couples’ initials, or chocolates pieces can be made out of molds. For example, a bride and groom who are huge football fans may choose to use molds to create chocolate footballs while a couple known for their love of music may choose music notes.

If chocolate favors are not one’s desire, chocolate can certainly be incorporated into the reception in other manners. An increasingly popular feature is a fondue station. Candy and dessert bars are other fun, creative suggestions. Regardless of how it is provided or served, chocolate needs to be a part of the reception.
